Since 19 November 2013, I’ve managed to see an astonishing 9 lifers, namely:
Manchurian Reed Warbler
Oriental Skylark
Short-toed Snake-eagle
Common (Himalayan) Buzzard
Chestnut-cheeked Starling
Northern Shoveler
Shikra
Ferruginous Partridge
Hodgson’s Hawk-cuckoo
I also saw the Long-legged (x Upland) Buzzard, but this is one instance where two halves don’t make a whole, so I’ve decided I can’t count that one! Still, after almost 10 months stuck on 569, I’m now almost done with the 70s in a 3 month purple patch!
